“Is the administration speaking clearly?”: One of the most outstanding round tables of the CGD 2025
Citizens demand more accessible, efficient and aligned services to their specific needs. The session “Advancing (little by little) in proactive and personalized services” was consolidated as one of the most highly rated by attendees of the Digital Government Congress (CGD). Held on March 12 at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB) under the themes of Efficient Administration, Digital Rights and Training, this session put on the table the challenges and opportunities for the implementation of personalized services within the current regulatory framework.
Ruth Molina, head of support and legal advice at the digital administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Marta Gutierrez, head of the Process Service of the Terrassa City Council; and Lídia Muñoz, head of proactive and personalized services at the Open Administration of Catalonia (AOC), shared their experiences and perspectives on the future of this model of relationship with citizens.
The session addressed how the current regulatory framework allows for proactive action by the Administration, as well as the limits that must be considered in terms of data protection and digital rights. There was also a debate on the need to adapt regulation to new forms of relationship with citizens to guarantee easier and more direct access to public services.
The speakers shared specific examples of administrations that are already successfully implementing personalized services, highlighting how these initiatives can improve citizens' quality of life and optimize public resources.
With a great reception among attendees, this session reaffirms the importance of continuing to move towards a more proactive, efficient and society-oriented Administration.
