The objective is to strengthen the employability and professional skills of young people under 30 years of age, beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System, through a training employment contract linked to their training.
To this end, training contracts are subsidized to obtain professional practice that must have a minimum duration of 12 months, full-time, in town halls, county councils, autonomous bodies and entities dependent on or linked to town halls, non-profit entities, associated work cooperatives and private companies (self-employed and SMEs), which have their workplace in Catalonia.
The number of contracts that city councils and county councils can request is established based on the number of unemployed young people in the municipality or territory. Non-profit entities, foundations and associations can request up to three contracts per entity. In the case of private companies, they can request a maximum of one contract. However, the number of contracts that can be requested by any type of entity that has not formalized all of the contracts awarded in the previous call regulated by Resolution EMT/2815/2025, of July 11, is limited.
In this call, the person initially hired may be replaced, as long as it is within the first 3 months of the hiring. This second contract must have a minimum duration of 9 months, as it is considered the minimum time for the replacement person to obtain an improvement in employability.
