The pandemic has forced public administrations to focus on innovation, do it fast and do it well. In this sense, the NovaGob Foundation has promoted a broad collaboration and consultation with the community to define the priorities for action or challenges of an innovative Administration.
As a prologue to this classification, six visions of what the Administration of the present and the future should be like are presented, commented by very prominent people in the ecosystem of Administration and public innovation, such as Máximo Fraile (the global vision ), Carles Ramió (the prospective vision), Borja Colón de Carvajal (the proactive and agile vision), Carmen Cabanillas (the technological vision), Ángel Gil (the human vision), Joaquín Meseguer (the open and complete vision) and Concepción Campos (the vision of the Rights) and Lucía Quiroga.
These ten priority ideas have been extracted from this joint work:
- Simplify administrative management and reduce bureaucracy
- Make interoperability a reality
- Facilitate the telematic relationship with all citizens
- Strengthen the sense of strategy, with clear objectives
- Evaluate public policies and results achieved
- Ensure cybersecurity along with digitization
- Ensure ethical public management, with service values
- Providing services proactively and automatically
- Staff training adapted to technological development
- Commit to recognition in people management
