In November 2020 we announced the change of affiliation applications to Via Oberta by type of procedure.
During 2021, more than 1.000 applications for registration for the various consultations offered by Via Oberta have been resolved favorably, and we hope that in 2022 the consumption of interoperable data will continue to grow. To facilitate the request for new data, below we remind you what to keep in mind when filling out the Via Oberta application form.
For data from the General State Administration that require authorization through the PID, you must choose a procedure code; once chosen, this will be the code to select for all the data you see in the form. Cannot select different codes for the same procedure.
It is also a requirement for the data requested in the AGE, publication, contribution or translation in the Spanish both of the applicable regulations as of the form where the consultation of the data is reported and the opposition is guaranteed or the consent of the interested party is collected. Therefore, in order to avoid documentation requirements in the AGE data consultation authorization, we recommend that you provide the translation of the regulations and the form at the outset.
With regard to regulations, it is necessary to take into account the current policy of issuers not to accept generic regulations that do not expressly establish the data to be consulted; therefore, the specific rule which regulates the specific procedure where it is required to obtain the data or document to be consulted.
Concerning the consent, you will find a detailed explanation of the types of consent and which one to choose in each case in the document containing the step by step to fill in the authorization application form by type of procedure for Via Oberta services (page 14).
