What does the DGT check?
When receiving an access request, the DGT verifies, among other aspects, that the entity carries out the obligation to communicate the sanctions and, where applicable, the deduction of points derived from the traffic sanctioning procedures it processes. This is done through the SIPP system (Points Permit Information System), the application through which entities with sanctioning powers communicate to the DGT the final sanctions and information relating to the deduction of points.
It should be noted that It is no longer necessary to present the commitment document. which was requested to access these modalities.
What if the entity is not integrated into SIPP?
During this verification, the DGT checks whether the entity is integrated into the SIPP system. If it detects that this integration is necessary, it will instruct the entity to contact the Provincial Traffic Prefecture, which will review the specific case and, if necessary, coordinate the integration with the DGT's IT Management.
Once the requirements have been verified or the integration has been completed, the DGT may authorize access to the services necessary for sanctioning procedures, as long as the consumption request is well justified.
A recommendation to save time
There is no public register that allows us to know which entities are integrated into SIPP. Therefore, in the ordinary process, it is the DGT itself that determines whether this integration is necessary.
