The list of municipalities that have relied on VideoActa as a management system for municipal events, it continues to grow, with the latest awards from Mollet del Vallès, Vilanova i la Geltrú and Blanes.
The VideoActa system combines the video recording of the municipal plenary sessions with the minutes document in electronic format, all electronically signed with the digital certificate or electronic DNI of the secretary of the local entity to give legal proof of the act.
The capabilities inherent in VideoActa optimize the work of the general secretaries in the elaboration of the municipal acts, in addition to helping the press departments to organize the audiovisual contents of the plenary sessions and to facilitate the access of the press to the same, to allow citizens and companies to access the contents of municipal decisions and offer new Information Society services to citizens.
As for the procedure for recording the video, it is done through a simple user interface that allows you to mark the moments of the recording where each item begins on the agenda of the plenary, generating the VideoActa so automatic as well as the integration between the video of the plenary session and the document of the same. Subsequently, the Secretary of the City Council signs the VideoActa using his digital certificate or electronic DNI, thus generating the material that will be stored in a document manager and to which public access will be available from the municipal portal.
As part of the playback portal, it is worth noting the possibility of following the full via live streaming while being recorded with VideoActa.
VideoActa therefore becomes an instrument that provides citizens with permanent access to public information on administrative processes, thus contributing to strengthening the principles of Open Government such as transparència, participation and collaboration.
