The Communication service is activated - a request relating to certain exceptions regarding business hours

Fruit stall in a marketThe Department of Business and Knowledge publishes the communication service of the application regarding certain exceptions regarding business hours.

According to the Law 18/2017, of 1 August, of commerce, services and fairs, the city councils can request to the department competent in the matter of commerce the following thing:

  • Modify in a timely manner the opening strip of commercial establishments (in accordance with art. 36.5).
  • Apply for the purposes of business hours, accept the status of tourist municipality (in accordance with art. 38).
  • Communicate the authorization of establishments located in the immediate vicinity of the merchant markets to be opened at the same time as the market, when this is carried out on a public holiday.
