How to make good use of Open Way? (IV): well-identified file and official
In this entry, we remind you of the usefulness of Via Oberta verification services offered by some data issuers. Unlike queries, data verifications allow us to confirm data we already have and not obtain new ones.
In this sense, it is good practice to make use of these services whenever possible since, in application of the principle of data minimization, personal data not necessary for processing the procedure is not accessed.
Currently, Via Oberta has the following verification services:
- Identity Data Verification (DGP): this modality allows you to check the data we already have on a person and, therefore, in the answer only the fields that have been reported will appear filled in in order to verify that they correspond with the information contained in the DGP.
- Verification of insured persons (CATSALUT): by entering the CIP and the first surname of the interested person subject to the query, the system checks if the CIP is valid and the insured's situation. It only verifies the data entered.
- Verification in the Registry of Stable Couples (Department of Justice): allows you to obtain the situation on a specific date of a person in the Register of Couples by querying their identity document, NIE or passport.
