In compliance with the Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, on accessibility of websites and applications for public sector mobile devices, the Consortium of Open Administration of Catalonia works hard to make 100% accessible its corporate website and the services it offers. To facilitate the analysis and monitoring of the degree of compliance with the accessibility of AOC websites and services, the Siteimprove solution has been contracted, a tool that monitors the accessibility of the website by detecting errors according to WCAG 2.1 regulations.
Currently and according to the analysis of the SiteImprove tool, the AOC's corporate website has achieved a score of 91,9 in the accessibility assessment of this tool. To achieve 100% we are developing a new version of the website taking into account all accessibility regulations and improving elements in AAA. Accessibility training has been provided to all the people involved in the creation of the website, as well as its contents, and other training courses are planned in this regard. With regard to AOC services, we are carrying out an analysis of the state of accessibility of the same to prepare the accessibility review report to be sent to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, which is responsible for monitoring the public sector. It is planned to hire the services of a company that accompanies us to make AOC services more accessible by reviewing services with sighted and blind people, reviewing templates, videos, documents, etc., and developing guides and manuals.
For its part, the new AOC services “e-TRAM 2.0”, “El Meu Espai (MyGov)” and “VALID 2.0” are developed with accessibility criteria by default during the design and construction process. We have incorporated specific clauses that guarantee the accessibility of all applications and services in the new procurement files.
