The European Parliament approves the law that will regulate artificial intelligence
The AOC participated in a round table on inclusive digital transformation, entitled “Accelerating Digital Transformation Leaving No One Behind", Within the framework of theSmart City Expo World Congress, on November 15th.
The round table, with the participation of different public and private views from around the world, reflected on the actions that governments and other actors involved in technology can take to make the whole society a part in digital transformation and not to leave anyone behind because of gender, age, social status, geographical situation, etc.
Judith Aguas, from the AOC's Innovation Department, explained the initiatives promoted by the AOC to promote the digital transformation of the Catalan administration from a "citizen centric" perspective to try to reach the needs of all citizens and therefore achieve an inclusive digital transformation.
The Smart City Expo World Congress is an international discussion forum that promotes innovation and smart and sustainable city development. The event, which has reached its eighth edition this year, has gathered more than 21.000 visitors from more than 700 cities around the world, 800 exhibitors and more than 400 speakers.
