We remind you that since 27/1/2016, some changes have been made effective to the Identity Data Consultation and Verification service that the General Directorate of Police (DGP) offers to administrations through Via ObertaThese changes consist of the disappearance of the citizen's residence data as data to be verified or consulted, so we have had to modify some parameters from which searches can be carried out.
- In the case of Identity Verification, the optional residence data (type of route, name of the route, country of residence and province of residence) have been removed as parameters to be checked.
- In the case of the Identity Query, an additional contrast data has been added as mandatory to the DNI / NIE or Support number. The contrast data can be "first surname" or "date of birth".
Users who access the services throughEACAT you don't have to do anything. You will find a new service called Identity (without residence data) in your catalog. Via Oberta, which works the same as the old Identity. In the case of users who access through their own management applications (that is, who are integrated with Via Oberta via web services) we remind you that we have been publishing on this blog the necessary instructions to adapt your systems to these changes.
