From last Friday, November 20th, until November 30th, the inhabitants of Olost can vote on which of the 5 projects presented in the participatory process opened by Olost City Council must be carried out. .
There are two ballot boxes, one in the Library and the other in the offices of Olost City Council. On the other hand, you can also vote through the City Council website, where all people living in Olost and those related to them, by second residence or having been born in the town, can cast their vote.
The opening hours of the Olost Library are from Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 21:00, while the opening hours of the Olost City Council are from Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 to 14:00 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 19:00. To vote through the municipal website just enter your ID numbers and select the chosen project.
The five projects that can be voted on are:
- Adaptation of the ground floor of the City Council for the creation of a multifunctional, cultural and self-managed room.
- Installation of a photovoltaic pergola in the sand of the Terra Nostra School. The aim is to shade the patio and at the same time produce electricity in a renewable way.
- Creation of a cooperative garden for citizen participation in the orchard area of the bridge.
- Create a smart village, that is, a smart village. Equip computers and tablets with the civic center and the old people's home, a weather station connected to the Internet and TV3.
- Construction of a sidewalk from the restaurant La Mola to the Plaza de Santa Creu. This will prevent pedestrians from having to walk next to vehicles.
The budget for all projects is similar, about 10.000 euros.
