Terrassa City Council, a pioneer in transparència

The citizens of Terrassa can already know where their City Council invests public money through the creation of Transparency portal.

This web site offers information on contracting procedures, accounting data and budget information. In this way, any citizen can know what companies the city council hires, how much money is collected by elected officials and where the money collected by the city council is invested.

Although not the first City Council to offer this type of information, the Portal of Transparència from the City Council of Terrassa is a pioneer in the amount of economic data offered. There is no city council that shows its economic details in such detail.

The portal also includes indicators on the quality of municipal management and on the quality of life in the city, data obtained through theIndex of Transparència of the municipalities (ITA) and the Global City Indicators (GCI) of the World Bank.
