The new regulatory bases for subsidies to county councils for assistance in AOC digital services have been published in the DOGC

On February 9, the new regulations were published in the DOGC. regulatory bases for subsidies to county councils and the General Council of Aran for assistance in digital services from the AOC to local entities.

The bases incorporate three main new features:

  • Expansion of the scope of the subsidy, which also includes the public sector dependent on town councils with less than 20.000 inhabitants and that of the county councils themselves.
  • Reorganization of eligible actions, without substantial changes in the tasks, but with a structure that facilitates better assessment.
  • New impact indicators in the assessment criteria.

With these changes, the AOC wants to recognize the support already provided by the county councils, improve the system for evaluating actions and orient it towards the real impact of digital assistance to local entities.
