The Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda opens the call for subsidies for the Municipal Support Program in the field of crafts for the year 2023.
- Goal
a) Encourage the establishment of establishments of singular activities of an artisanal nature.
Obtain the opening of empty premises, in defined and determined areas, so that they become pulses of economic activity.
Boost economic activity and employment in the defined area.
Promote and attract that offer that makes the municipality unique.
b) Promote the prestige of craft fairs and fairs-markets in Catalonia and energize museums and interpretation centers related to crafts.
- Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries can be local bodies and their public bodies attached or linked to them, decentralized municipal entities, common communities and county councils as established in Base 2 of Annex 1 of this Resolution.
- Requirements
Area 1: support to municipalities for the recovery of empty premises through craft activities.
The requesting entity must present a report justifying the need for the action.
The minimum subsidized investment must be 3.000,00 euros.
This area is incompatible with program 5. Support program for municipalities in the field of commerce.
Scope 2: support to the municipalities for the notoriety of the Artesania fairs and fairs-market and for the revitalization of the museums and interpretation centers in relation to the crafts.
In the case of fairs:
- The applicant entity must be the organizer of the fair or fair-market.
- Artisan character, monographic or multi-sector, of the fair or fair-market
- Exhibitors with registered office in Catalonia must have an artisan card and D'A product badge.
- The fair or fair-market must be registered in the register of fair activities of the Department of Business and Work.
In the case of museums and interpretation centers:
- The activities to be carried out must correspond to the performance profile of the museum or center and be linked to trades included in the Repertory of families of craft trades.
This program is linked to assessment criteria that will determine the amount awarded. In order to be eligible for these grants, with reference to Area 1, the submitted applications must have a minimum score of 60 points out of a total of 100 points, otherwise they will be considered refused. In Area 2, the applications submitted must have a minimum score of 40 points out of a total of 100 points, otherwise they will be considered refused.
- Amount of the subvence
For both areas, up to 50% of the subsidized expenditure, with a maximum of 6.000,00 euros.
- Eligible expenses
Area 1: support to municipalities for the recovery of empty premises through craft activities. Eligible expenses:
- Strategic plan and diagnosis of the area to be recovered from the municipality.
- Definition of the strategy for the opening of premises in the defined area.
- Project follow-up and implementation (excluding the rental of premises).
Area 2: support to the municipalities for the notoriety of the Artesania fairs and fairs-market and the revitalization of the museums and interpretation centers. Eligible expenses:
-Expenses for courses, conferences, exhibitions, craft demonstrations, children's workshops, competitions.
-Diffusion and advertising expenses.
Animation activities and logistical needs not directly linked to outreach activities are excluded.
- Evaluation criteria:
Area 1: support to municipalities for the recovery of empty premises through craft activities.
- Number of empty premises on which action will be taken (up to 40 points).
- Percentage of empty premises in the performance area:
- When empty premises represent more than 20% of the performance area: 40 points
- When empty premises represent 10 to 20% of the performance area: 30 points
- When empty premises represent less than 10% of the performance area: 10 points
- Sustainability of the project (30 points)
- Coordination / collaboration of the private sector (20 points).
- Promotion of projects that guarantee effective equality between men and women, as well as diversity and inclusiveness: 10 points.
Area 2: support to municipalities for the notoriety of craft fairs and fairs-market and for the dynamism of museums and craft interpretation centers.
- Trajectory of the fair or entity: 30 points.
- International projection: 25 points.
- Promotion of new talents: 25 points.
- Coordination / collaboration of a craft association: 10 points.
- Promotion of projects that guarantee effective equality between men and women, as well as diversity and inclusiveness.: 10 points.
