The act of delivery of the 2021 Open Administration Awards will take place next May 3 at 17 pm at the Auditorium Theater of Llinars del Vallès. The awards ceremony will be attended by the Vice President and Minister of Digital and Territorial Policies, jordi puigneró, the president of Localret, James Oliveras and the mayor of Llinars del Vallès, Martí Pujol. This is the XNUMXth edition of the Open Administration Awards, awards given each year by the AOC to local councils and county councils that have stood out in the promotion of digital transformation and open government in its relationship with citizens and in their internal management.
These recognitions are given on the basis of theDigital Maturity Index carried out by the AOC and determined on the basis of the analysis of objective indicators, the data on the use of the AOC services and the analysis of the websites of the local bodies. The Digital Maturity Index is a unique initiative, both at national and European level, which allows us to rigorously assess the degree of maturity of the digital transformation of a public entity.
The Open Administration Recognitions distinguish seven categories according to the number of inhabitants of the entities and their nature:
- Councils of 1 to 500 inhabitants
- Councils of 501 to 1.000 inhabitants
- Councils of 1.001 to 5.000 inhabitants
- Councils of 5.001 to 20.000 inhabitants
- Councils of 20.001 to 50.000 inhabitants
- Councils with more than 50.000 inhabitants
- County councils
