This June, the training of the Decidim Catalunya pilot has begun, which will have the participation of 10 councils from the demarcations of Tarragona and Lleida, chosen according to the criteria of the Network of Transparent Governments and the Provincial Councils of Lleida and Tarragona, which accompany and collaborate in the deployment of the entire pilot project.
The effective start of the Decidim Catalunya pilots will take place at the end of this year, when all the infrastructure and governance will be available. From 2022, a gradual rollout of the service to the local world will begin.
The training has a global approach to advice in the field of citizen participation in the receiving councils that will allow the use of the tool to be optimized, and will guarantee its sustainability.

In this way, the Government of the Generalitat and the Network of Transparent Governments make a firm commitment to citizen participation as a fundamental element for democratic quality, at the same time deploying a digital infrastructure to support the local world, in a framework of collaboration in which all the administrations involved add up to move towards an ecosystem of country participation and of the highest quality.
The Decidim Catalunya service, which will be coordinated through the Network of Transparent Governments, will offer the local world a comprehensive service, in a "turnkey" format that will include technological, organizational, and technical and business support aspects. The AOC will be responsible for making the Decidim platform available to the local world, managing the technical service, providing support in inquiries and incidents, as well as developing the developments that are agreed.
