The second session of the Digital Government Moments held last November 12 under the title "New ways of working in the administration" is now available on video on the AOC's YouTube channel. This second session, organized by the Diputació de Girona, the Department of Digital Policies and Public Administration and the AOC, was followed by nearly 280 users and 9 out of 10 are satisfied or very satisfied.
The Director General of Digital Administration, Esther Manzano, the managing director of the AOC, Marga Bonmatí i Jordi Castanyer, of the Diputació de Girona were in charge of welcoming the attendees to the second talk of the Digital Government Moments, the digital government virtual sessions that are aimed at all public administration staff and especially those in the local world.
Organized in thematic blocks and moderated by theAnna López Sanuy, the talk had the participation ofAnna Jornet, from Miravet City Council in the first block of the session: "How to regulate and implement new ways of working". Then, in Peter Losantos i theEva Vendrell of UPC Nexus 24 and the Lydia Gonzalez and the Silvia Esteva from the Palafrugell Town Council, addressed the second thematic block where they discussed "Methodologies and tools for working remotely". "Cybersecurity" starred in the third and last block of the day where the Mercedes Aguilar of the City Council of Rubí and in Joaquim Roque, from the City Council of Sant Joan de les Abadesses presented their experiences in this area.
To finish, the Jani Miñarro of the Sant Cugat City Council and theAnna Pelaez of Cambrils City Council presented the conclusions:
- less control and more trust
- the work is agreed upon and planned as a team
- the results and not the hours are monitored
In short, that "teleworking is a tool, not an end".
