The fireseres of the Sant Joan eve are activities with a risk of forest fire in forest lands and in the 500-meter strip surrounding them, according to the Decree 64/1995, of March 7, by which forest fire prevention measures are established.

To carry out these activities, they must be authorized in advance, complying with a series of prevention measures.

In order to speed up the process of delivering the authorizations they require, there is an effective service, with which the councils can deliver them with the prior authorization of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food. City councils can request this service from the Corps of Rural Agents. ”
