Municipal entities (FMC and ACM) present one Guide Guide on the impacts of the European Data Protection Regulation on local authorities

The aim of this guide is to reflect on the most important developments in this regulation and on the most relevant impacts that affect Catalan local bodies and their linked, dependent or affiliated public sector entities.

Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data repeals Directive 95 / 46 / EC (hereinafter RGPD), and the elaboration of this guide aims to help members of local governments, both politicians and public employees, as well as citizens who are related to this level of government, in their interpretation.

A guide has been prepared for the dissemination of this guide briefing, that will take place on May 3 at the Auditorium of the IDEC, in which the authors will be able to present the most relevant elements of this publication.
