Vehicle and Driver Registration (ATEX4)

The "Vehicle and Driver Registry (ATEX4)" service, which includes the query of the data of a vehicle, a person and one by affiliation, is no longer supported by the Directorate-General of Traffic (DGT).

However, the DGT launched the fifth version of Telematic External Access (ATEX 5), incorporating data on vehicles that had not been collected until then and giving greater compliance to the legal parameters relating to data protection.

For this reason, the AOC Consortium has proceeded to adapt the version it was using to the new ATEX5 version. In this sense, migration has begun for all entities that were authorized and used the services of the Vehicle and Driver Registry through the portal. EACATThis change will not impact users who make inquiries from the portal.EACAT, which will only see the modalities that they had been consuming until now closed and the new modalities corresponding to those that were authorized accessible:

  • Data of a vehicle (ATEX5): Where the data of a vehicle are offered by means of the consultation This modality allows to consult the data of a vehicle from the Registration / frame / level of the same. (ATEX_VONSULTA_VEHICLE)
  • Data of the holder of a driving license (ATEX5): This modality allows to consult the data of the holder of a driving license, is natural or legal person, from his identifying document. (ATEX_PONSULT_PERSON)

However, for consumers of DGT services that are integrated through web services, they must urgently begin to adapt to the new environment, since the DGT has advanced the discontinuation of the provision of the service. ATEX4 next December 2017.

Specifically, you need to make changes to the messaging and modes you can find at service integration document Via Oberta – DGT – ATEX.

To authorize the changes to Pre-Production and Production, or to resolve any questions, you can open one integration support request.

For those of us who are already part of the new version of ATEX5, you already have it new version of the DGT service.

As indicated, these changes affect entities integrated through web services but not users who make queries from the portal.EACAT.
