Aware of the need not only to implement a high-security instrument, but also to improve and bring its usability closer to citizens, the General Directorate of Police will disseminate from its website and social media channels the information needed to to its installation and handling of clear and simple form.

To facilitate theuse of DNIe on smartphones and tablets, has been incorporated contactless reading technology (NFC) on the DNI 3.0 card, which will allow the reading of the same by approaching the terminal. The most immediate uses of the service platform associated with the DNIe 3.0 are aimed at making different mobile applications, the well-known apps, with the concept of authorizations. For example: third-party authorizationeres people to collect packages that arrive by mail or courier services; for schools, authorizing children's excursions or signing notes; collecting medicines from pharmacies, when there is an electronic prescription, and the patient cannot collect it; or, the secure signing of emails.
