The business ICT sector issues a report on public procurement best practices

The Association of Electronics, Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Digital Content Companies (AMETIC) and the Spanish Association of Consulting Companies (AEC), have elaborated theReport on good practices for public procurement which contains considerations and recommendations on how to approach procurement procedures in public administrations.

The implementation of these practices aims to maximize the value provided and minimize the price, while guaranteeing, at the same time, the transparència and free competition. These recommendations refer above all to contracts tendered through the open procedure, as it is the most common in IT Consulting and Services.

The two entities, aware of the budgetary limitations of the public sector, consider it essential to put in place mechanisms that ensure the correct transformation of productive models and progress towards the digital economy in line with European guidelines.
