As part of the Let's Talk about... cycle organized by the Provincial Council Bookstore.

The OTPGL and the Barcelona Provincial Council Bookstore are organizing, on Thursday, January 22 at 12 noon, a new session of the Let's Talk About... cycle, on the occasion of the presentation of the book Collection of regulations on citizen participation in the local area. The event will take place in the lobby of Can Serra (Rambla de Catalunya, 126, Barcelona).

The day will begin with a dialogue between Josep Lluís Martí, professor of Law at Pompeu Fabra University and author of both the first edition and the updated version of the work, and the deputy delegate for Participation of the Barcelona Provincial Council, Marc Serra Solé. The conversation will focus on the main regulatory developments and the analysis of the most relevant legislative changes in the field of citizen participation in local governments.

Afterwards, the round table entitled "Citizen participation and the promotion of associations from the local world" will be held, which will address the latest issues.eres legal developments in this area, with special attention to the opportunities offered by Law 11/2023, on the promotion of associations.

Mariona Soler will participate, representant of the Citizen Management Platform and member of the Administrative Rights Defense Group; Ramón Nicolau, president of the Catalan Federation of Social Volunteering and promoter of the Community Action Network of Catalonia; Aurora Corral, general secretary of the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council, and Josep Lluís Martí himself.
