On October 5th and 6th, the Girona Auditorium will be celebrating “COMTIC 2026“, a space to share experiences, connect municipalities and promote the digital transformation of the public sector.

Day: October 5 and 6, 2026

place: Girona Auditorium

Registration: you must fill in registration form

First day: “What are we doing?”

It will be dedicated to the successful projects developed over the last few months. Initiatives that have aroused special interest within the community and that the members themselves have prioritized through an internal vote will be presented.

The starting point, the decisions taken, the difficulties overcome and the learnings that can help other administrations move forward will be made known. It will be a day to discover transferable solutions, compare experiences and find people with whom to continue working.

Second day: “ICT Strategy: Where should we go”

The second day will be dedicated mainly to the ICT strategy of the local world and the challenge we have set ourselves: by 2030, to be the 4% that transforms 100%. We will present joint projects and discuss how to share capabilities, attract and retain talent, strengthen digital sovereignty and place technology at the center of municipal strategies.

We will talk about governance, alliances and common priorities, but above all about how to convert them into concrete decisions and projects. We want to leave Girona with a more shared vision, new partnerships and lines of work capable of generating visible results for the local world as a whole.

Who is it for?
Special guests are:

• ICT managers and professionals from town councils, provincial councils, regional councils and other local bodies;
• public sector teams working on digital transformation, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure or citizen services;
• institutions, universities, companies and entities that want to collaborate with the local world from a knowledge and responsibility perspective.
