The project to transform the Generalitat's web ecosystem continues to advance with the creation of two new spaces: theEntities space i thespace Local entities. Thus, the gencat website becomes the reference point for accessing services, procedures, resources and information of interest to these users. The changes facilitate access to content thanks to the concentration of resources in a single, more coherent and accessible digital environment.
These new spaces can be viewed in a new unified header with specific access for citizens, companies and professionals, entities and local bodies.
As for the Entities space, it unifies in a single website the information, services and procedures that until now were scattered across 16 websites, information sheets and frequently asked questions. Thanks to this new space, entities will be able to access centrally all the information to carry out their activities, such as constitution, board changes or the presentation of annual accounts, the organisation of safe activities or obtaining support and aid. In addition, the Entities space offers search engines to find the data of the entities registered in the basic registers and a space to support the processing with content tailored to them.
In the case of local authorities, the new space integrates the contents of the old Municat website and other cross-cutting initiatives linked to the local world. This single point of reference for municipalities offers a global view of the resources available and greater visibility of the services of the Generalitat de Catalunya aimed at local authorities. The fact that the information is not so dispersed reduces the search time and, in addition, specific attention is given to the needs of rural municipalities. Local authorities will also find information relating to the management of their personnel and a section of the Open Government Network
With these changes, the gencat website continues to grow with the aim of becoming the reference portal in terms of information and services.
