The Barcelona Provincial Council incorporates municipalities with fewer than 5.000 inhabitants into the “Digital Administration Solutions” resource

The city councils of municipalities with up to 20.000 inhabitants, county councils and decentralized municipal entities can now request the economic resource "Digital administration solutions", included in the 2027 Services Catalog of the Local Government Network.
The main novelty of this call is that, for the first time, municipalities with less than 5.000 inhabitants can also access this economic resource, which expands its scope and reinforces the commitment of the Barcelona Provincial Council so that no local entity is left behind in the digital transformation process.
Digital transformation is a key element to move towards administrationsmore efficient, agile and closeeres to the citizensIn this context, the resource contributes to guarantee the continuity and consolidation of digital tools which allow local entities to manage their administrative procedures in accordance with current regulations.
This resource is managed by the Corporate Technology and Systems Services Management, which supports local governments in their processes of technological modernization and consolidation of digital services.
