With this collaboration agreement between the Department of Justice and Democratic Quality and the AOC, the entire Administration of Justice of Catalonia (including all courts and justices of the peace) will be able to use common services offered by the AOC Consortium to digitally manage files, procedures and other actions. Currently, the transmission of files and communications between the Generalitat and the courts is complex and that of city councils with the courts is basically done in paper files and generates complaints from local entities.
It is the first time that the AOC will provide common services to organizations that are part of the General State Administration.
The Department of Justice is the Department (by far) that makes the most intensive use of the AOC's services.
The scope of common services has been limited to:
- EACAT: submissions and communications between public entities
- Enotum: electronic notifications
- Vàlid: authentication and signature
- MUX: check-in and check-out
