The Deputy Director of Technology of the AOC, Ruben Cortes, participated in the conference “Cybersecurity beyond protection” held on May 20 at the Auditorium RBA building. During the conference, organized by Minsait, the current challenges in cybersecurity were analyzed and how organizations are responding with a focus on three key aspects: artificial intelligence, operational environments and critical infrastructures, and digital sovereignty.
The director of Indra Group Catalonia, Salvador Garcia, and the Chief Executive Officer Minsait Cyber, Roberto Espina, welcomed a day that included the presentation “Cybersecurity in Catalonia” by the director of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, Laura Knight.
The session gave way to three round tables: “Smart Armor: Protecting ourselves with AI, protecting ourselves from an attack with AI, protecting AI”, “Protecting critical infrastructures and environments” and “Cybersecurity and digital sovereignty”.
Ruben Cortes participated in this last roundtable where he spoke about how the AOC guarantees digital sovereignty by improving its platforms to offer more reliable and trustworthy services. The AOC's strategy consists of certifying its services with the National Security Scheme as a lever to establish the foundations of a secure and scalable service platform.
