Local bodies have the obligation to request their registration or cancellation, within one month from the date of their constitution or dissolution respectively, as well as to notify the General Directorate of Local Administration of any modification. of the data entered.

One of the novelties presented by the Register of the local public sector of Catalonia is the incorporation of a new subsection concerning foundations attached to a local body in the section corresponding to other entities dependent, attached or linked to local entities.
