Sabadell City Council and the Open Administration of Catalonia Consortium (AOC) have signed a collaboration agreement through which citizens who change their residence will be able to notify the administrations of their new address electronically.
The Managing Director of the AOC, Joan A. Olivares, and the Deputy Mayor of the Area of Central Services and Economic Promotion, Montserrat Capdevila, signed the agreement to facilitate the dispatch and electronic communication of registration flyers municipality of inhabitants to public administrations with respect to the data protection law.
The aim of the electronic dispatch of registration flyers is to gradually replace the sending of paper registration flyers with electronic flyers in order to benefit both the City Council, which will save itself from issuing paper flyers, and the citizen that will no longer have the obligation to travel to request and present them in other administrations.
Sabadell City Council is committed to the goal of simplifying the administrative life of citizens, which is embodied in the administrative 'one-stop-shop' philosophy and in the maximum enhancement of the tools that new technologies put at our disposal to in order to speed up all the procedures.
