Reus City Council has developed a regulation governing the use of notifications by electronic means. As a highlight, this regulation includes cases in which electronic notifications may be made compulsorily to certain groups of natural and legal persons, as permitted by the LAW 11/2007, of June 22, of electronic access of citizens to public services in Article 27.6 and the Law 26/2010, of 3 August, on the legal and procedural regime of public administrations in Catalonia in Article 43.2.
Specifically, the obligation is established in the following cases:
- Notification of announcements of the collegiate bodies of the City Council.
- Interdepartmental communications of the town hall
- Notifications of administrative acts to the staff at the service of the City Council, provided that they have the status of interested parties.
- General communications to staff in the service of the City Council.
- Notifications and communications on administrative contracting procedures
- Notifications and communications on procedures of public concurrence, such as subsidies, grants, competitions, bases of opposition, and in general in those administrative procedures and communications that are possible, will be carried out by means of the use of the electronic means. The regulatory bases will include the obligation whenever possible due to the recipients.
