The VÀLid service of the AOC obtains the certification of conformity with the ENS in the high category
On Wednesday 13/02/2018 the AOC Consortium came into operation the evolution that allows the Validator service to accept qualified certificates from any country of the European Union, fulfilling the requirement set out in article 25 of the European Regulation (EU) 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of July 23, 2014, on electronic identification and trusted services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93 / EC (hereinafter ReIdAS).
Since the launch of the evolutionary service, the Validator accepts both the certificates certified in any country of the Union, as well as the documents signed by them, consulting and admitting the profiles issued by the qualified providers that each member state publishes in its trust list.
The European Commission publishes, in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of ReIdAS, the information on the bodies responsible for the establishment, maintenance and publication of the lists of trust of each country, and offers a web tool to be able to consult it.
Applications integrated with the Validator service do not have to make any adjustments to accept the new certificates. However, it should be borne in mind that fields relating to the identification numbers of both individuals and legal entities (such as the NIF and CIF) will only be available in those certificates issued in EU countries where this type is used of identifiers.
