Interoperability, understood as the ability of administration systems to share and reuse the information they have to achieve common goals, is a fundamental area of action for the AOC Consortium, because it allows both administrations and society in generally be more efficient and save resources:
- Citizens and companies they save in their procedures with the administration, so as not to have to supply and provide documentation that is already in the possession of other public institutions.
- Public institutions they save, on the one hand because they are freed from the administrative and economic burden that the issuance of certificates entails on paper and on the other hand, because the automation of data access by the processing bodies results in a decrease in errors in the data and in files that incorporate truthful and updated information... with the consequent procedural economy that this represents
So, the intensive use of interoperability services by our administrations makes us not only comply with the law, but to be more efficient and competitive, save money and at the same time be more environmentally friendly.
