On January 24, the latest version of the ER idCAT Service Specific Conditions was published, a document that regulates the particularities of the management of the Registration Entities (ER) of Catalonia's digital citizenship identity services. Below we remind you of the most relevant guidelines that establish the conditions of the ER idCAT service:

Issue and manage certificates a any natural person that meets the requirements set out in the Certification Policy for Citizenship certificates, without discrimination due to nationality, residence or any other personal or social condition or circumstance.
keep updated the file of ER idCAT and send it at least every 24 months to the AOC Consortium.
Perform them audits ER idCAT to which it is legally bound as a provider of certification services and those deemed appropriate to guarantee compliance with the procedures
Verify the identity of the natural person applying only with the supporting documents provided for by Law 6/2020, of November 11 (DNI or passport) or other means allowed by law, such as the foreigner's identity card or the certificate of registration of citizens of the European Union.
Follow the established procedures, especially remember that it is important that the personal code is incorporated by the citizen and not the operator in issuing the idCAT.
