New graph of grants and aid awarded on the transparency portal
Beginning Wednesday, January 24th it is planned to incorporate a new graphic in the Transparency and Open Data portal that the AOC offers in collaboration with the Network of Open Governments of Catalonia.
Specifically, we are improving the graphic display available in the "Granted grants" and "Granted grants" items, with an interactive graphic based on the data that is already obtained weekly from the National Subsidy Database (BDNS) linked to the Ministry of Finance (MINHAP).
If these two items so far allow displaying a common data table:
Figure 1: sample of the current table of data associated with the Item of "Subsidies awarded" and "Awards awarded". This example corresponds to the Transparency portal of Igualada.
With the work we have done, this table will be replaced by an interactive graphic that, starting from the same data source, brings us much closer to the information, all allowing filters and searches and access to detailed information, all in the new format of AOC design to facilitate the consultation of information (active advertising) for citizens.
Below we show you with images examples of what the graphic will look like once deployed on the portals:
Figure 2: sample of the visualizations developed from public data from the BDNS for the items of "Granted grants" and "Awarded grants".
Figure 3: sample of the details of the data tables associated with grants and aid granted on data extracted from the BDNS.
And how will this visualization be deployed on the different portals?
Taking into account that the graphics have been built from the information already found in open data on the portal (automatic open data source BDNS origin), all those entities that currently have the current table visible on their portal (either to item "Subsidies awarded" or "Aids granted"), in each case, and automatically, the available table will be replaced by this new visualization that includes both a graphic environment and data in a more visual, practical, complete and easy-to-consult form. However, and as with any item on the portal, the editor of each portal will be able to modify its visibility, or activate it if this is the case.
When will the deployment work take place?
It is planned that the deployment tasks of this improvement start from 20pm on Tuesday 23 January, and endaround the10am on Wednesday 24 January. It is possible that during this period of time, and due to the technical work, occasional service interruptions may occur. We apologize for any inconvenience these tasks may cause you.
