The AEAT has informed us that, from the year 2020, the web service of the Personal Income Tax is based on a new model of providing information, and all bodies integrated into this Web Service will be affected and will have to change their developments.
This new model involves a modification of the entire structure of the personal income tax modality, which from the year 2020, will respond with a new XML design for specific data, similar to that of the Renda Web program, and a dictionary with all the boxes and their descriptions which is published on the AEAT portal, where you can access all the new versions:
According to the AEAT, this change in format means that from 2020 onwards “all the information on available boxes will be offered, which means that:
According to the AEAT the availability of information on Personal Income Tax data in the production environment, for the financial year 2020, will be available from the second half of July.
New Integration for the “IRPF Certificate” Modality
The new service is already available in the pre-production environment, but the AEAT is still finalizing it. The AOC Consortium has already been integrated so that:
The return of the information for the years before 2020 will not require adaptations by the administrations, the service will return the information in the corresponding format for each fiscal year requested.
The effects on the calculated modalities of the Income will be assumed by the AOC Consortium
The calculated modalities of the IRPF certificate: “Individual income level certificate","Certificate of income for social benefits"I"Certificate of income for scholarships”Are also affected by this model change.
However, from the Consortium AOC is working on adapting these modalities to the format of previous exercises in order to avoid that, both consumer administrations by EACAT screens such as those integrated by web services, are affected and they have to make new adaptations.
Other AEAT services
The AEAT has not reported any change in the other services or modalities offered by the AEAT "Tax obligations", "Consultation of the tax address", "Certificate of exempt Public Pensions", "Tax on Economic Activities (IAE)" , “Quality of Identifying Data”, so, for the time being, they should not be affected by new modifications.
