The AOC explains its cloud services strategy at the CNIS and the Digital Government Congress

The AOC's Director of Technology, Rubén Cortés, recently took part in the National Congress of Innovation and Public Services (CNIS) and the Digital Government Congress, where he explained the AOC's strategy for cloud services. From these sessions it has become clear that the AOC is promoting one of the main initiatives of "cloud" services in the public sector of the State.

Specifically, the AOC has been and is implementing:

  • Non-critical applications:
    • Training Moodle, AOC Websites and Digital Government Congress: Amazon Web Services (2016)
  • AOC services
    • Hèstia (local social information system): Microsoft Azure (2018)
    • Save (document repository): Amazon Web Services (2021)
    • Other services: VALiD, Validator (PSIS), EACAT 3.0 (2022-24)

The advantages of going to cloud services are agility, flexibility, basic and on-demand security (with high-level ENS certifications) and openness to new innovative technologies, in a framework that simplifies deployment and substantially reduces downtime. let's go.
