The T-CAT and the T-CAT P are qualified certificates that allow the identification and electronic signature of the workers of the integral entities of the public sector of Catalonia that have the consideration of public employee according to the regulations of application, of exclusive use in the exercise of its functions.
The category to which the workers of each entity belong, including the class of public servant in question, is an internal organizational question.
For this reason, you should keep in mind that when requesting the issuance of a T-CAT or a T-CAT P you declare under your responsibility that the incumbents are public employees likely to have the T-CAT (note that the certificate incorporates the attribute “public employee"As more identification data).
Finally, remember that according to the Law 59/2003 of December 19 on electronic signature and European Regulation No. 910/2014 of July 23 on electronic identification and services of trust in electronic transactions, digital certificates are personal and non-transferable and you must take the necessary measures to prevent their misuse.
