With the integration last June of the new data consumption options that can be made from Hestia, the number of inquiries from the Basic Social Services Areas (ABSS) has increased significantly. If in the whole year 2021 consumption from Hestia was limited to 16.840 queries, in what we have of 2022, and only until mid-October, more than 25.000 have already been made, the data being the most requested those of the User Register.
The incorporation of inquiries to the Social Security Treasury, the Tax Agency and the Citizen's Guaranteed Income has encouraged the ABSS to obtain the necessary data from people, with their prior consent, directly from the same care software , saving time, both for professionals and citizens, thus facilitating their management and making it possible to focus on their real interests. By not asking for data that is already in the possession of the Public Administration, the Social Services are getting closer and closer to complying with the regulations in force for years, not to ask citizens for their data other administrations.
ABSS such as Badalona, El Vendrell, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Reus and Amposta, among others, have opted to use these consultations intensively, thus becoming the leaders of this good use.
