March 17, L'Illa Auditorium. Barcelona

On March 17th, the Conference "Revolutionary local governments. Let's tear down walls!". This day brought together the entire local world to share strategies, projects and solutions that are accelerating digital transformation in Catalonia.

At a time of profound changes, we propose a brief, inspiring space with high-impact content where administrations and the AOC move together towards smarter and closer governments.

Local governments today have the opportunity to start a real revolution: that of smarter, more open and collaborative public services. It is time to break down walls and build an administration based on data, interoperability and real citizen orientation.

Objectives of the day

This day has four main objectives:

Promoting a common vision of smart local government

We will share the AOC's vision and strategy to facilitate a modern, interoperable and people-centered administration.

Explain the new features of AOC services

We will discover the services, developments and functionalities that the AOC makes available to local entities to improve internal management and citizen service.

Give visibility to collaborative projects with the local world

We will present the results of the projects that allow us to overcome barrierseres thanks to the joint work between local administrations and supramunicipal entities.

Strengthen the role of the AOC in the digitalization of the public sector

We strengthen the link with city councils, county councils and provincial governments to move towards shared and efficient governance models.
