From May 19 to 23, the Open Government Week,OpenGovWeek, promoted by the international organization Open Government Partnership (OGP), of which Catalonia has been a member since 2020. Government leaders, leaders, activists and thinkers from all over the world share ideas and debate possible solutions to the challenges we face. Decentralized actions and activities have been scheduled to learn about Open Government Week.

10.15 am – Round table 1: “The Open Government Network of Catalonia: paradigm of inter-administrative collaboration in matters of transparency”. With:

  • Luis Corominas, director of the Transparency and Good Governance Foundation of the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM), and member of the Legal Advisory Committee
  • Anna Brunsó, head of the Open Government Section of the Provincial Government of Girona
  • Ferran Farriol, head of the Open Government Service of the Open Administration Consortium of Catalonia (AOC)
  • Joan Cotxa, head of the Active Advertising and Right of Access Section in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Barcelona (AMB)

11.45 am – Round table 2: “Municipal experiences in transparency”. With:

  • Eva Vinolas, mayor of the Susqueda City Council
  • Maria Pia Seriñana, mayor of Cadaqués City Council

12.35 pm – Panel of institutional experts on the state of health of transparency in Catalonia. Moderated by: Oliver García, Deputy Director General of Transparency and Interest Groups. Participating:

  • Ruth Cortés, technical advisor on processes and evaluation of the Catalan Ombudsman
  • Joseph Ramon, member of the Commission for the Guarantee of the Right of Access to Public Information (GAIP)
  • Óscar Roca, Director of Prevention of the Antifraud Office of Catalonia
