The Generalitat de Catalunya is promoting a citizen participation law to consolidate the citizen participation model as one of the pillars of open government, establish solid foundations that facilitate innovation in this field and improve the democratic quality of all processes.

A participatory process divided into 7 debate sessions aimed at citizens and groups related to citizen participation (administrative staff, people with a technical profile of citizen participation, staff from specialized companies, etc.) These sessions, organized around 5 thematic axes, are held online and in person throughout the Catalan territory. They are spaces for dialogue between citizens and the Administration, where opinions, needs, proposals and expectations can be provided.
