09May09:3014:00Conference on plain language

Event details

The drive for a comprehensive, proactive, personalized, agile and sustainable citizen care model with an omnichannel vision, from design to service provision, brings with it many challenges. One of these challenges is that of communication with citizens.

How many times have we heard: "What they are saying is not understood"; "They explain it this way for those who don't understand"; "They don't provide me with all the information and I have to go around to get it"?
Citizens are asking us to communicate in a clearer, easier to understand way. And from the administrations we have the challenge of converting the administrative language into a more understandable language that responds to this citizen's right.

On this day we will have experts who will explain the need to make clear communications and how to do it and what actions are being taken to promote plain language in the Administration.

Targets
- Raise awareness of the importance of using plain language.
- Expose the positive impact that writing communications in understandable language has on citizens.
- Find out what actions are being taken to apply plain language to the Generalitat.
