This course, organized by the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia, aims to train people working in local bodies to use the cyber security tools that allow them to guarantee the confidentiality of the information they use during their professional activity.

Cybersecurity has become a "buzzword" in local government. Public administration activity takes place in a digital world, inside and outside the workplace.

  • What ICT security measures do we have configured on our tools and devices?
  • How do we guarantee the protection of the data of the entity and the people neighboring the municipality?

The course will take place over four days: 5, 13 and 21 February and 1 March 2024. It is aimed at working people who want to protect confidential documents and know in detail the systems and methodologies to follow to guarantee the security and privacy of information.

Teacher: Genís Margarit and Contel. Engineer in: Telecommunications Engineering and Electronic Systems Engineering by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – UPC. Cyber ​​security auditor for the last 15 years.
