On April 15, 2026, a working session was held between the Lleida Provincial Council, the regional councils and the AOC with the aim of strengthening institutional and technical coordination, sharing the status of digital services and identifying joint lines of work to better respond to the needs of the municipalities.
During the first part, the Provincial Council of Lleida presented the status of the main services it provides to municipalities, such as the file manager, economic and tax management, corporate services, collaborative tools and cybersecurity services. The main challenges in areas such as the municipal registry, the need to strengthen adherence to agreements and the importance of improving communication and coordination with county councils were also shared.
The AOC then reviewed the main lines of work, the evolution of services and the roadmap of key tools in areas such as digital identity, electronic processing, interoperability and data, as well as the return of proposals collected in previous sessions with the county councils. Aspects related to support for local entities, the management of roles and permissions and the improvement of service channels were also addressed.
The territorial round allowed the county councils to share their reality, marked by reduced support structures, unequal levels of maturity between municipalities and a growing workload associated with the deployment and maintenance of digital services.
The session concluded with the commitment to work together to address the challenges detected in the area of convergence of services offered by the AOC and the Provincial Council, interoperability, file archiving, integration of the manager with the services and optimization of the management of digital certificates, moving towards a strategy that promotes a more efficient digital administration adapted to the needs of the municipalities.
