The ORGT of the Girona Provincial Council (XALOC) is integrated into “El meu espai"to move towards a more proactive administration, being the third ORGT in Catalonia that joins in offering a unified vision to El meu Espai.
The service "El meu espai"from the AOC" continues to grow to facilitate a simpler, clearer and more personalized relationship between citizens and public administrations.
In this context, XALOC (Girona Provincial Council) joins as a new key player, allowing consult local tax information in a unified way and taking another step towards a more proactive and people-centered digital administration.

With this integration, citizens can now access "El meu espai" and check the status of your taxes corresponding to three of the four tax management organizations (ORGT) of Catalonia:
- ORGT DIBA of the Barcelona Provincial Council.
- BASE ORGT of the Provincial Council of Tarragona.
- XALOC of the Girona Provincial Council.
This means being able to:
- View your personal tax situation in a single environment
- Avoid having to navigate through different electronic sites
- Have a global view of debts and obligations with various municipalities
Ultimately, it is a paradigm shift: moving from a reactive administration to a administration that anticipates and supports citizens.
A collaborative country project with new services on the horizon
The initiative is part of the Network of Open Governments, which promotes shared digital services to improve efficiency and citizen experience.
The integration is being rolled out in phases. In this first stage, information can already be viewed on tax debts.

In addition, users of El meu Espai can now enjoy the experience of unique identification when accessing their tax procedures, SingleSignOn has been activated thanks to the latesteres evolutions of the VàlidTaking a step forward to improve the browsing experience, the trusted zone has been activated. Vàlid with the four ORGTs of Catalonia. This translates into fewer clicks and interruptions.
For example, when a person enters your activity and accesses the details of a specific tax (for example by accessing El meu Espai from Calafell City Council), you will be able to access the details and navigate to the action “Manage direct debit” or “Pay online”. El meu Espai is consolidated as an interoperable and inter-administrative Citizen Folder service designed to positively impact and make the relationship with citizens more efficient and to guarantee the satisfaction of their needs and rights. Currently, more than 1.825 entities are already part of this service.
No cost for user entities, “El Meu Espai” makes it easier for citizens to know the status of their procedures and procedures with the Administration in a simple, simplified and comprehensive way of their actions with an inter-administrative vision thanks to the collaboration within the framework of the Open Government Network of Catalonia.
