The Catalan Office for Climate Change opens the call for the selection of projects that wish to participate in the Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emissions Compensation Program.

This call aims to incorporate new projects into the Program during 2026. The projects will participate in the Program for a maximum of 4 verification periods (4 years).

In the DOGC of May 4, 2026, the call for applications to include new projects in the Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emissions Compensation Program was published.

These projects must be promoted by entities, associations, foundations or non-governmental organizations that carry out social work in Catalonia. Specifically, you can consult which organizations are considered promoters in point 2 of the annex to the call published in the DOGC.

The call makes available to promoters a total of 9 methodologies on which to present a project. However, projects on methodologies not yet developed may be presented under the conditions of points 8.3 and 8.4 of the call published in the DOGC.
