The service “El Meu Espai” developed by the AOC has received the “Premio Servicios Públicos que Conectan” at the XVI CNIS Congress, held in Madrid, in recognition of its innovation in the creation of a personalized space for relations with the Administration. In this edition, 226 projects from more than a hundred institutions participated, which reinforces the value of the recognitions received.
"El Meu Espai” is the inter-administrative citizen folder of Catalonia, a digital service that offers people an integrated view of all their procedures, procedures, notifications and files, in a single, easy and unified access point. In this way, “El Meu Espai"makes it easier for citizens to monitor their activity with the Administration that is part of it" more than 1.800 public entities through more than 300 information nodes which are consulted in real time.
"El Meu Espai” has been in continuous production and development since 2019, with a sustained growth in users demonstrating its gradual adoption by citizens. The service has transformed the digital relationship with local government, moving from fragmented channels to a unified and proactive experience for more than 340.000 people per year.
In figures, it interoperates annually more than 8 million entry and exit records, more than 1 million files and more than 80.000 tax settlements (in pilot at 495 entities). It has generated more than 22.000 self-service registration flyers (in pilot at +200 local entities) at a current rate of 3.000 per month.
Some of the collaborating teams include the four Catalan provincial councils, local governments, the four tax collection and management bodies such as ORGT – BASE, ORGT – DIBA, ORGT – Lleida, ORGT – XALOC; as well as private solution providers.
Award for the “Video attention of the Generalitat de Catalunya”
The project “The video care of the Generalitat de Catalunya” has also been recognized with a CNIS 2026 award: an accessible, inclusive public service with real impact that has obtained the “Care from the Public Award”, a category that recognizes initiatives that place citizens at the center and guarantee inclusive and equitable public care.
Video support is a public service of the Generalitat de Catalunya that since December 2025 allows you to receive information, support and administrative processing by video call, from anywhere and without traveling, through the Virtual Office. This service is part of the omnichannel support model of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and offers an experience equivalent to that of a face-to-face office, maintaining proximity, legal security and quality of service.
