The AOC joins the executive committee of the AccesCAT network

On January 27, 2026, the AccessCat Network Council, one of the main governing bodies of AccessCat, was established for the period 2026-2028. This body brings together the representauniversities, research groups and, as a novelty, participating entities of a business natureThe Network Council appointed the members who will make up the new Executive Committee of the AccesCat network, which brings together those responsible for various areas within AccessCat.

In this sense, the head of the Accessibility service of the AOC, Elena Torres placeholder image, was appointed as Head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of AccesCat. The AOC joined in AccesCat on April 3, 2025 as a member entity and now in this new stage it will participate as a business entity.

Apart from the renewal of the Executive Council, the meeting also served to present the objectives of the new stage, which will be marked by changes, growth and new horizons.
